The Michigan Federation of College Democrats announces a day of organization building in Lansing!
On April 20th College Democrats from around the state will gather in Lansing to network and to gain valuable campaign knowledge to mobilize on campus and around the state this fall. Join us for this FREE conference!
Students will talk with state leaders, attend caucus meetings, and trainings while getting involved in the College Democrats movement.
The tentative schedule is as follows:
8:00am-9:00am: Registration
9:00am-10:00am: Provided breakfast, Welcome from MFCD and Mark Brewer, Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party
10:15am-11:00am: Seminar 1:
- Blogging/ Internet Outreach
- Education Caucus (Tuition, Defeating Rogers Law)
- Victory on Campus
11:15-12:00pm: Seminar 2:
- Women's Caucus
- LGBT Caucus
- Media/ Press Training
12:00pm-1:00pm: Meet and Greet lunch (provided)
1:15pm-2:00pm: Seminar 3

2:00pm-3:00pm: Chapter Presentations
3:00pm-5:00pm: Closing Plenary session, state of the College Democrats of America, MFCD 2008 Plans
